MALAYSIA INVESTOR RELATIONS (IR) AWARDS 2014

To honour the individuals and companies that lead the way in the practice of IR, we are delighted to announce that MIRA will be hosting the 4th Malaysia Investor Relations Awards presentation luncheon at 12:30p.m. on 17 June 2014 (Tuesday) at Sime Darby Convention Center, Kuala Lumpur. We are pleased to inform you that the occasion will be graced by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Tajuddin Atan, Chief Executive Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad.

In recognition of best practices in IR by IR professionals and public-listed companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, MIRA had engaged Nasdaq OMX to commission the Malaysia IR survey for the 4th consecutive year. This is aimed at leveraging on Nasdaq OMX’s universe of 2,500 members of the Buy and Sell-sides to participate in the survey which was conducted between 19 March 2014 and 23 May 2014.

10 categories surveyed by Nasdaq OMX were polled under Large, Mid, and Small based on company size (market capitalisation) referenced against the basket of companies under the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index Series during that period. The following are the categories polled and winners:
