Yinson GreenTech’s chargEV partners Khazanah to accelerate development of Malaysia’s EV charging ecosystem

Yinson GreenTech’s chargEV has secured an investment from Khazanah Nasional Berhad via Dana Impak to accelerate EV charging infrastructure expansion. This supports Malaysia’s goal of 10,000 charging points and aligns with the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) towards net zero by 2050.
Yinson GreenTech CEO Lim Chern Yuan said the investment strengthens chargEV’s growth, as its pay-per-use revenue has increased fivefold. Khazanah’s Managing Director Dato’ Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir emphasized the importance of supporting Malaysia’s EV ecosystem, while MGTC’s Acting CEO En Saiful Adib Abdul Munaff highlighted the need for strategic deployment of chargers.

marinEV’s Hydromover Commences Commercial Trials to Electrify and Decarbonise Cargo Transfers

Yinson GreenTech’s (“YGT”) marinEV has launched trials for the Hydromover, Singapore’s first fully electric cargo vessel. Funded by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (“MPA”) and Singapore Maritime Institute (“SMI”), the Hydromover offers zero emissions and lower costs.vThe trials began on 26 August 2024 with OPL Services and support Singapore’s goal of net-zero emissions for harbour crafts by 2050.
